EPU Project Funding

Eurasia-Pacific Uninet was established in 2000 with the aim of creating an educational network for universities and universities of applied sciences in Austria and educational institutions in East Asia, Central Asia - Caucasus, South Asia - Pacific.

EPU comprises a great number of international partners of all scientific fields and supports projects in the areas of research, research-based teaching and art as well as technology cooperations. It supports bilateral and multilateral initiatives.

Project proposals can be submitted exclusively by researchers affiliated with Austrian EPU member institutions. Each project must involve at least one international EPU partner institution, and projects are generally designed for a duration of one year.

Supported disciplines include engineering and natural sciences, medicine, agricultural and environmental sciences, economics (including tourism studies), humanities and social sciences, as well as art and music – reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the network.

EPU Project Funding is financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Women, Science and Research (BMFWF).
